Join Bloomfield Christian School Parents and friends on a Biblical and historical tour where the Word was written. This tour is open to all. We will travel to sites throughout Greece, starting in the north (Philippi, Thessaloniki, Berea), making our way south (Athens and Corinth), and concluding with a 4-day cruise around Greek islands with a stop at Ephesus, in modern-day Turkey. Our tour traces Paul’s journey and promises to deepen your faith and enrich your understanding of early Christian history. 

We’ll explore the great cities of Classical and Hellenistic Greece, including sites that saw the birth of the Christian church and retain a rich Christian tradition even today. There is nothing like exploring the Scriptures in their original settings, and by walking in the footsteps of Paul and Christian leaders throughout the centuries, you will gain a fresh perspective on the Bible and a renewed appreciation for the mission, message, and ministry of the Church. Of course, Greece is also a land of enchanting natural beauty, and no tour would be complete without a cruise of the wonderful Greek islands to bask in the sun and the deep blue Aegean!

I (Julia VanderMolen) will be your guide from Footstep Ministries. I look forward to sharing some of my favorite places as we explore God’s story, meeting characters from Paul to early Christian martyrs to new friends and brothers and sisters of our churches on our very tour.
