In May of 2025, Debby and I will be leading a tour to follow in the footsteps of the apostle Paul to Greece and I’d like to invite you to join us! This tour offers the opportunity to explore this beautiful part of the world and learn more about the apostle Paul, the greatest evangelist the church has ever known.

This journey will be an unmatched education in the land of the Bible. It is difficult to convey how much the trip will also transform your life spiritually as you stand on the stones of the first-century churches of Philippi, Thessaloniki, Berea, Athens, Corinth, and Ephesus. We will explore the great sites of Classical and Hellenistic Greece. We will gather in the Holy Grotto of the Revelation and catch a glimpse of John’s vision into heaven while on the sun-drenched Island of Patmos. The pivotal events of the early church and the writing of the New Testament will come alive as never before as you study the Scriptures in their original settings.

For me, a great motivator for this trip is the opportunity to experience this together. We will form new friendships and grow in those already established. We will see the creative nature of God revealed and we will do that together. I cannot wait to see how God will use this time for His good purpose.

Guiding our trip will be Dr. David Sparks and his wife Elizabeth, founders of Footstep Ministries. David is a biblical scholar and historian, with a passion to make the Word of God come alive by exploring it in its historical context so that travelers return home with a renewed faith and a strengthened witness. Elizabeth was born and raised in northern Greece in the town of Berea, and her desire is to share the beauty of her native country and for travelers to experience the culture in unique and powerful ways. David and Elizabeth have led tours throughout Greece for more than 30 years and are thrilled to be partnering with us.
